Description
Sisymbrium irio: It is used to treat coughs and chest congestion, to relieve rheumatism, to detoxify the liver and spleen, and to reduce swelling and clean wounds.
Saussurea lappa: It is used in chronic gastritis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, bronchitis and in inflammation-related diseases.
Zizyphus jujuba: It is used to treat various diseases such as respiratory system diseases (asthma, cough, and laryngitis)
Hyssopus officinalis: It helps relieve chest congestion and coughs, to soothe sore throats, and to act as a mild sedative.
Zingiber officinale: The anti-inflammatory effect of ginger can relieve a cough, bronchitis or sore throat by reducing inflammation.
Piper longum: It is used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.
Ocimum basilicum: It shows anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and antioxidant effects. It has antibacterial properties. It may help fight bacteria in people with respiratory, urinary, abdominal, and skin infections.
Adhatoda vasica: It is rich in anti-inflammatory, antibiotic and expectorant properties. It holds high significance in treating the common cold, cough and flu symptoms. It also reduces chest and nasal congestion gets rid of excess sputum and stops nasal discharge.
Glycyrrhiza glabra: It is used as a demulcent for sore throats and an expectorant for bronchial catarrh and coughs. It acts as an anti-inflammatory, reducing allergic responses and preventing liver damage.
Foeniculum vulgare: It contains antioxidants, antimicrobial components and anti-inflammatory volatile oils, which help alleviate the risk of cold, cough, and flu and provides instant relief. It is also widely used as a carminative, digestive, and treats gastrointestinal disorders.
Dosage
Children: 1 to 5 years of age: 1 teaspoonful 3 times a day. 5 to 12 years of age: 2 teaspoonsful 3 times a day or as directed by the physician.
